Ways of Immigration to Japan

There are currently 29 types of Residence Status people can apply for staying in Japan. * Commonly known as the “Highly Skilled Professional Visa,” this visa category is available to applicants who score 70 points or above under Japan’s Highly Skilled Professional Points-Based System. Those who meet the requirements may become eligible to apply for Permanent Residency after 3 years. Applicants who score 80 points or above may qualify to apply for Permanent Residency after just 1 year. If you do not currently meet the 70-point threshold, we can provide a professional assessment based on your background and qualifications.
